At DavidWayneAssociates, we take the time to understand the needs of the companies we work with. We work closely as a partner throughout the hiring process to help identify, interview and hire top performers. Our search methods have been developed over 30 years in the Staffing Industry. We invest a significant amount of time to understanding the nuances that allow an organization to develop and retain their employees. We employ a variety of recruiting methods. Through our extensive network, we identify not only individuals who are actively seeking employment but also those for whom a specific opportunity would be the logical next step towards attaining their professional and personal goals.

Needs Analysis and Position Specification
An in depth analysis of your needs for the role to be filled, including an evaluation of the necessary skill requirements for the job and a determination of reasonable salary expectations for the candidate.  This assessment is arrived at after a series of discussions with yourself and others within your organization.  The result of these discussions will be a detailed position profile document to be used in the candidate identification process.  You have editorial control over the content of this document.

Research and Candidate Identification
We develop a research strategy and plan a networking campaign to identify candidates who possess the required qualifications.  This plan includes, but is not necessarily limited to, market networking, newspaper ads, online postings and good old fashioned headhunting.  We’ll also work with you to understand what organizations we might be able to approach to find the talent you require.

Candidate Assessment & Presentation
We’ll perform the screening process based on our understanding of the environment.  Each prospect will be presented with a candidate profile.  This profile will summarize the prospect’s background and illustrate how the prospect matches up with the position specification.  Additionally this profile will cover the candidate’s salary requirements, personal information and strengths and weaknesses.

Reference Checks
As an extension of our candidate assessment, we speak with at least 2 of each finalist’s business associates – customers, supervisors and co-workers – and provide you with a summary of these conversations prior to presentation.  The references add insight into the personality and work style of each prospect.  As in all phases of the search process, we exercise utmost care in regard to confidentiality. 

Offer Negotiation and Candidate Follow up
We’ll act as point person for all negotiations.  This will enable you to delegate what can be an adversarial task to us as a neutral party and allow the candidate to start working for you on day one without the baggage of an uncomfortable negotiation process.
